So I tried to make a white truck but it seems you cant in this game. For some reason any grey or white colors get turned into chrome. Well at least we know now that if you skin a truck and want chrome parts just make them white. Attachments:

no... white on the alpha channel makes it chrome. I had a white truck already

It's the transparency. The less transparent the texture is, the more shiny it becomes in the game. If a texture is completely opaque, it becomes chrome, regardless of actual color. If you open the extracted textures, you'll see that they are very translucent.
